Raymond Cormier

October 22, 1959 - November 20, 2012

Merritt Island, Florida

Raymond (Ray) Cormier, 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by his
loving family on November 20, 2012. He was born in Edmonton, Alberta,
Canada. He moved with his family to the United States in 1960. He
settled in Merritt Island in 2002. He was preceded in death by his
infant brother, Anthony Cormier, and by his parents, Roger and Gisele
Cormier.

Ray was the world's biggest Dallas Cowboy football fan, which earned him
the nickname of “Cowboy”. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing,
camping and visits to the mountains. His sense of humor and friendly
manner brought smiles to the faces of everyone he met.

Ray was a devoted husband to his wife, Tina, whom he met at Wal-Mart,
Merritt Island, where they were both employed. He is also survived by
his son, John Elsner (Amanda); daughter Chasity Hedges (Tom); Brother
Mike Cormier (Marissa); Sisters Renee Hoofnagle (Frank), and Elaine
Mahnke (Paul); and so many extended family members. He was “Papa” to 9
children that he loved dearly.

Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially by his family
of co-workers at Wal-Mart, where he was employed for 13 years.

Ray will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him. Go Cowboys!
