Corporal Allen Paul Mowbray

Allen Paul Mowbray, 55, of Palm Bay, FL died September 7, 2010 at home. Survivors include his wife Brenda of Palm Bay, FL, children Danyell Jackson of Bradenton, FL, and Kerri (Brandon) Basista of Palm Bay, FL; siblings Dale Ann Chilton of Ocala, FL, Patricia Gaudreau of Forestville, CT and Haines City, FL, and Emmett Stone of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Mikinizi Jackson, Rylee Jackson, and baby Basista due October 14, 2010; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ethel Mowbray of Bradenton, FL.

He was a graduate of Manatee high School in Bradenton, FL and worked for FL State Highway Patrol as a traffic homicide investigator. He served honorably in the US Army from 1977 - 1982.

Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2010 at South Brevard Funeral Home, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL. His funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Church on the Rock (Elysium Church) 4028 Babcock Street, Melbourne, FL 32901 with Pastor Don Luszczewski officiating.
