She was born May 23, 1920 in Cartersville, GA to Eulys and Julia (Long) Guyton. She moved to Melbourne in 1951 when her husband, Marvin Tallent, Sr., accepted a job at Patrick Air Force Base in the early days of the space program.
She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her son, James Eulys

One of her greatest sources of pride was having five generations of her
family. She is also survived by her sister Cathryn Guyton (Don) Leveen of Cartersville, GA; sister- in-law, Jackie (Hubert) Guyton of Cartersville, GA; her cousin and sister-in- heart, Ruby Wilkes of Oakland, FL and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Dot, Sis, Grandma, Gamma T, Gramma Dot, Barney, Uncle Dot, Aunt Dot, Momma T and Sadie (among her many names) delighted in being an extra grandmother to so many, especially her "doctor families".
She filled our lives with her laughter, love, faith, good cooking, fishing and zest for life. She had a wonderful 90th birthday party followed by a trip to Georgia for her much beloved family reunion. We shall miss her but know she is now at peace and with those that have gone before. We know the Lord truly was her Shepherd.
