Rose was born in Akron, Ohio on June 3, 1920 to the late Ernest and Justina Sarmer.
Her family includes her Daughters and sons in law, Margaret and Joseph Nemethy of West Melbourne and Mary and Tony Isaacs of Winter Springs; a son, George Kedik of the Phillipines; grandchildren Andrew Nemethy and his wife Ashley, Stephen Nemethy and Claire Nemethy, Olivia Isaacs and Michaela Isaacs and a sister in law, Mary Swarmer.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:30 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne.
