Melbourne, Florida Karen (Homola) Lyons, 49, of Melbourne, passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on February 24, 2013.
She was a thoughtful and loving wife and mother and had a special way of touching everyone around her. She was a trusted friend to many. An animal lover, Karen would go out of her way for the care and well-being of birds, squirrels, and all in nature. She was known for the love of her own pets, including her dogs and ducks.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Jim; two sons Eric and Kyle; her father Charles Homola, Jr.; and sister Brenda Sellers (Randy). She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Ann Homola.
Funeral Information
A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held Saturday, March 2 at 2:00PM at River Run Christian Church, 1660 Croton Road, Melbourne.
