Barbara Neuendorf Smith, 83, of Satellite Beach, FL died on her birthday, February 8, 2013. She was born February 8, 1930 in New York, NY to Herman Edward and Helen Rose Mayer Neuendorf.

Her family includes her children Jason (Val) Smith, Judith (Terry) McGovern, Janet Smith, Joel (Cindy) Smith, and Justin Smith; sister Helen (Hank) Oswald; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Barbara enjoyed painting china plates, sewing, and was an accomplished doll maker. A resident of Brevard county since 1965, she was a Girl Scout leader for 15 years. We will miss hearing her tell us "Good morning, merry sunshine !"

Funeral Information

A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm, followed by a celebration of her life at 6:30 pm.
