Anna Elizabeth England
July 31, 1928 - February 07, 2013
Anna Elizabeth England went to be with the Lord and join her Husband Robert White England Sr. and her Great Grandson Matthew Brewis on February 7, 2013.
Ann was born in Bronx, NY on July 31, 1928 and lived there until she met Robert England, married and moved to Rockledge, FL where she lived for over 50 years.
She was a retired Brevard County School Bus Driver and was loved by all that knew her. Ann was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church for 57 years.
We knew her as Mom and would like to share some heartfelt sentiments. Our Mom was a feisty red headed Irish woman that did not meet a stranger; she loved to laugh and had a witty and great sense of humor.
She loved her family and would protect and support them in everything they did. Mom had a heart of Gold. Her faith in God was unwavering and her love of life was inspiring.
Our Mom was not afraid of death and was always ready and would say "I will go when the Good Lord wants me." Knowing the attitude Mom had about death has helped sooth our souls. She was funny and when asked where she wanted her ashes spread her reply was, "Just throw them in your garden, maybe your plants will grow better." Of course at the time we didn't think it was funny, but she did.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Cheryl Knable at the Farrington House on Merritt Island for taking such excellent care of our Mother in her last years here on earth. You are truly one of Gods Angels.
She was loved and will be missed by many. She is survived by her daughter Peggy England Thilges, son Robert White England Jr., daughter Laura England Callahan, Granddaughter Terri Thilges Brewis, Granddaughter Meaghan Callahan, Grandson Robert England III, Granddaughter Ashley England, Grandson Ryan Callahan, Granddaughter Katie England, Great Grandson Shane Brewis, Great Grandson Tyler Brewis and Great Grandson Jonathan Brewis, Son in Law Jim Thilges and Grandson in Law Michael Brewis, along with many friends that loved her.
Ann was a dedicated wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother and friend to all that she met. She will be missed.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Ann's life at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Gathering to follow at St. Mary's Parrish Hall.
Our Mother Loved God and Animals, so the family is asking for donations to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 75 Barton Ave, Rockledge, FL 32955 or the Central Brevard Humane Society, 1020 Cox Rd., Cocoa, FL 32926 in lieu of flowers.
