Lyle G. Lishka, Command Sergeant Major US Army Retired, 87, passed away at his home in Palm Bay on Wednesday, August 11, 2010.

Mr. Lishka was born on July 21, 1923 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Lee F. Lishka and Alta I. Million Lishka.

He was a decorated combat veteran of WW II, Korea and Vietnam.

His family includes his wife of 65 years, Maxine; a son, Dennis L. (Fredricka) Lishka; two daughters, Diane L. Bowker and Donna L. (Richard) Filip; Four grandchildren, Tanya, Travis, Jennifer and Joshua; three great grandsons, Mathew, Patrick and Zachary and two sisters, Doris Shadoan and Judith Quinn of Bloomington, Illinois.

Funeral Information

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at South Florida VA Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
