T. Earl Rowan

March 18, 1933 - February 12, 2013

West Melbourne, FL

T. Earl Rowan, 79, of West Melbourne, FL went to be with his Lord on February 12, 2013. He was born March 18, 1933 in MacClenny, Florida to Perry and Alma Rowan.

Earl's family includes his wife of 56 years, Velva; son Rev. Stuart (Teri) Rowan; daughter Becky (David) Waynick; brother Bill (Jenny) Rowan; grandson Taylor Rowan, granddaughter Toni Waynick Rutgerson. Grandson GL Rowan Waynick, granddaughter Morgan Rowan, and grandson David Minnick.

He was a pastor over 34 years shepherding First Church of the Nazarene congregations in Zephyrhills, Gainesville, Arcadia, Winter Haven, Warner-Robins, GA, Jackson, MS, and back to Arcadia where he retired.

Earl was a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and had served on their Board of Directors. He was also a graduate of Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has served as ministerial president and was a member of the Civitan. He was actively involved in each community where he lived.

Funeral Information

A Celebration of his Life will be at the Christian Development Center, 343 Nail Street, NE, Palm Bay, FL on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 5:00 pm.
