James Augustus Ladd
August 20, 1969 - February 26, 2013
Melbourne James Augustus Ladd, 43, died Feb. 26, 2013 at the Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, following a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Winfield, Illinois and grew up in Jacksonville Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida and worked as an electrical engineer for many years, coming to Melbourne in 1996.
Survivors include his fiancée, Jessana Deangelis of Palm Bay; his father, Daniel Ladd and his partner, Vernelle Lytton of Lake Placid, FL; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Andra Ladd of Iron River, MI; Jonathan and Jane Ladd of Orlando, FL; his sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Chuck Scott of Stuart, FL; his brother, Frank Ladd and his fiancée, Maria Gibson of Raleigh, N.C.; nine nieces and nephews and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Treadwell Ladd.
